Waterfall water feature

This Water feature was a collaboration between three local Artisans here in Flagstaff, Ashby Smith of Deep Roots landscaping, Garrett Reinoso of Wicked Welding and fabrication and myself. I was tasked with the creation of the 250 gallon single tier waterfall, It turned out beautifully in this modern Flagstaff courtyard.
Boardformed Fireplace

Sherill, Chris and Megan came to me to execute Megan's Design of a boardformed fireplace paneling and hearth with integral wood storage. This project posed some unique design challenges in that the panel had large return back to the walls that we didn't want to make detached. This is the type of project where UHPC Ultra High Performance Concrete shines in it's own light. The strength of the panels and definition in the boardforming made this quite a stunning feature for this Flagstaff home.

For this particular project I had to push the boundaries of what the material can do, we went as thin as possible at 1.75 inches thick and used ultra strong rebar welded frames to achieve the massive overhang in this contemporary home.

This Project let me push the barriers of thickness of the tops and utilize the waterfall design feature.Our clients decided that they wanted a kitchen that was utilizing concrete but didn't look like it . The end result was a beautiful handcrafted top that exceeded expectations.
